The Origin of Evil

        Before time began and before the multiverse of Suncrest was formed, Elohim dreamt in Arcadis. He dreamt of the multiverse and of the creation of five worlds. When Elohim awoke, He carefully planned and created the foundations of the multiverse. Elohim started by creating a tree named Yargesil and out of the tree, Andromeda was born. She was the first nymph to be born from Yargesil and Elohim clothed her in light and shared his wisdom with her. It was Andromeda’s job to share Elohim’s revelations with those that loved them. Creatively and elegantly Andromeda planted flowers and plants around Yargesil forming a garden. She created Elohim’s throne out of sapphire. After Andromeda created a throne for Elohim, Elohim created an emerald throne for Andromeda. From the throne of emerald flowed living water that kept Yargesil, trees of life and the rest of the garden alive. Another river of life flowed out from the sapphire throne into fields and irrigated them to give the angels and dragons mana to eat to keep their moral stable. Fruit trees in the garden were also created for the same reason. They didn’t need it to survive. Malum was made from steel but his scales turned black when he was transformed into a chromatic dragon and exiled to Anarus. The paths in Arcadis were made of gold. Beyond Arcadis, Elohim created the sea of roses and the Outer Darkness. The sea of roses connected Aracdis and Anarus but there was a one hundred and eighty degree gravity shift between the two. From Yargesil, a crystal fruit blossomed and the universe that surrounded Nephrium was born in darkness and would be left without form. In total, there were seven fruits that grew on Yargesil but the creation of Ethone was a mystery even to Andromeda. Elohim realized that in order for his kingdom to be established in love and freedom, he must give his creation the choice to love him in return. Therefore, in the Outer Darkness, Elohim placed a spirit named Zuthos in it to inhabit it. Zuthos would give his angels and dragons a choice between good and evil. Elohim proceeded to warn the angels and the dragons not to venture into the Outer Darkness, for it would consume them. Among all of the angels Lucius was the most beautiful and out of the darkness, Zuthos called to Lucius and Malum. Lucius went to Zuthos and he commemorated Lucius for his beauty. Time would pass and Lucius continued to visit Zuthos. The spirit planted seeds of pride and malice in the heart of Lucius. He began to think of himself higher than the other angels. Lucius told himself that he would establish his throne above the stars of Arcadis and higher than the throne of Elohim. Lucius decided that he would become his own god. He wanted the angels to bow down and worship him like he had worshiped Elohim.

Elohim: Lucius why have you left my throne and wandered into the Outer Darkness? I have created you with such beauty and now you have corrupted your wisdom. You seek the praise of others when I alone establish you as the cherub who goes before my thrown. You walk among flaming coals and guard my glory. I have loved you from the day of your creation so why do you let pride fill your heart?

Lucius bowed his head low and darkness overtook him. His eyes erupted with flames.

Lucius yelled in malice: You created me out of lust for worship and solely for your own glory. I will lead angels on my own. We should bring glory to each other and not to one being. I will establish my throne above the stars of Arcadis. I will establish it above your throne, because you are not worthy of my praise.

With that Elohim began to weep and he knew that the angel’s heresies would bring about his own destruction. Lucius’ sin would one day bring death to Nephrium. With his deceiving lies he would lead many astray but in the end Elohim would triumph and his kingdom would be firmly established in love. From that moment on wars broke out in Arcadis. Zuthos would inspire Lucius and Malum to do a great number of sins. Magnus, the archangel would lead the angels under Elohim’s ranks to become victorious. Lucius was thrown out of Arcadis and was cast down into Nephrium along with his followers. These are the origins of evil.

Zuthos was actually born when Aiden Sager was baptized in fire. Aiden was born with the element of water and his love for Andromeda caused him to take on the properties of fire. This elemental imbalance drove him mad and in order to balance the chaos inside him, his essence was split in two. Little did everyone know that Zuthos was the embodiment of Aiden’s darkness and chaos. Aiden and Zuthos became the first titans. Aiden of strong water miracles and weak fire miracles; while Zuthos was of strong fire miracles and weak water miracles. Andromeda and Rose taught Aiden and Zuthos to channel their opposing elements in harmony and they were both welcomed into Telaren so that they could create dreams. Aiden used his psychonic powers for good but Zuthos used his for evil. Zuthos studied the ethereal essence in Telaren and absorbed enough of it to become a full blooded anti-god. Zuthos fought Aiden and tried to kill him, but Elohim seized him and cast him into the Outer Darkness. Zuthos created Anarus using powerful illusion spells that came to life. He touched the roots of Yargesil and created the world of Ethone into being. He was able to fill Ethone with sentient life that were in elemental opposition to the creatures of Nephrium. Zuthos took angels and made them into shadow minions. He took gem dragons and turned them into chromatic dragons. He took the dreams he created and turned them into nightmares. He took ethereal essence and turned it into shadow plasma. He took shadow plasma and created a plane of estistance in the Outer Darkness called Shadowmar. Zuthos barred all creatures in Ethone and Shadowmar from using the power of miraculous water. Zuthos created marut, dreadnaughts and modram to inhabit Shadowmar. Zuthos’s creations were becoming so frightening that Elohim, Andromeda, Joshua and Rose created metallic dragons and slaad to enter Shadowmar and frustrate Zuthos’s plans. Elohim went a step further and created a power source for the angels of Nephrium, the metallic dragons and the slaad to use to fight Zuthos and Lucius. Anthony, Magnolia, Thame, Omen, Luthron and Azzar brought Zuthos before the throne of Elohim and Zuthos was stripped of his ability of creation. Being a full blooded anti-god, it would take time before Elohim could find a way to destroy Zuthos. Zuthos’s new power he gave Malum was barred from Arcadis and Telaren. Anti-titans were no longer allowed to enter Telaren or consume ethereal essence. New titans were carefully chosen and baptized in fire only if Andromeda confirmed that the titan would be able to defeat rival anti-titans. This started the creation of worlds by Elohim where titans fought to protect their worlds from their evil counterparts.
